After taking in the diamonds sparkling of Haiduk Lake, the views from the pass are amazing with Haiduk, Scarab and Mummy Lakes, as well as Mt. Ball in the background. Whistling Pass is named after the responding whistles of a number of hoary marmots that make the pass their home.

The trail: Make your way to Haiduk Lake, then you contour the east shore and then commence up a stiff climb through a rockfall to Whistling Pass. From the top of the pass, you look down on Scarab and Mummy Lakes.
