Deposit, cancellation and modification policies

Deposit Policy

A non-refundable deposit equal to the first night stay is required. Final payment is due 60 days prior to your date of arrival. Reservations made within 60 days prior to arrival require full payment at the time of booking. For reservations which require 3 or more cabins, an automatic 15% service charge will be added at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy

All reservations are subject to a 60-day cancellation policy. Cancellation notification must occur at least 61 days prior to your arrival date to ensure that no further payments are taken against the balance of your reservation total. Outside of 60 days a date change request can be made in lieu of canceling, but the date change must be within the same operating year. Cancellation notifications made within 60 days of arrival are ineligible for a refund. We are not responsible for road closures, weather conditions, or any other events out of our control. Cancellation/Medical insurance is recommended. Shadow Lake Lodge has the right to cancel any reservation at any time without notice. Guests will be refunded 100% should this occur; a 2.4% credit card processing fee will be applied to the balance of any refunds.

Changes /Modifications to Bookings

If you wish to reduce the number of persons in your party after final payment has been made, a $125.00 per modification admin fee will apply. This ONLY applies to group sizes of more than 3 which are being reduced. There is no ability to reduce a party size to less than 2 persons per cabin per night. If a request for a date change is made, management reserves the right to apply a $125.00 admin fee, plus any applicable fees based on the price of the new dates. Date changes will not be granted within 14 days of arrival at Shadow Lake Lodge for any reason.

Property Damage / Management rights

The Guest will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the lodge property caused by themselves, their guests or any person for whom they are responsible. Charges may be incurred to cover the cost of repair or replacement. It is agreed that guests will conduct themselves in a respectable manner; Management has the right to request any guest to vacate his/her cabin, with no previous notice and without assigning any reason whatsoever.

  • Rates are based on double occupancy.

  • Initial deposit is non-refundable.

  • All reservations will have an additional $6.50 per adult/per night environmental fee attached to the reservation.

  • Additional Adults
    $295.00/night. Youth Rate - $175/night **

  • All rates are listed in CDN, and are per night. There is a two-night minimum for all bookings at Shadow Lake Lodge.
