2023 Season Opener
The term “June monsoon” certainly applied to our opening week at Shadow Lake Lodge! While the rain and snow can be uncomfortable, it set the stage for a lush and dynamic environment - adding appreciation to a warm meal and dry bed! Our team and guests were in high spirits with the company.
We have no doubt that all the rain will set the stage for an amazing scene with the sun in the coming weeks :).
Arrival
Don the rain gear and enjoy the sights on the way in - everything’s much more alive when there’s some moisture in the air~
You’ll likely be met by Alex when you arrive at the lodge! Check-in time is at 2:30pm.
At around the 10km mark up the Redearth Creek Trail, you’ll find a bike rack and several stations to lock up your bike for the final 3km hike in.

What’s better than a cozy cabin after a wet day outside? Not much!
The lodge sits at 1,800m, so any precip has a chance to be snow!
