This year, renowned officiant Cole Hofstra is onsite at Shadow Lake Lodge for two weeks, offering personalized ceremonies and vow renewals. Known for his warm presence and crafted ceremonies, he is one of Alberta’s most in-demand officiants. All you need to do is book your stay at Shadow Lake Lodge and we will take care of the rest - including the champagne and chocolate.

Eloping can be an amazing way to have an intimate, meaningful, and beautiful wedding. Not only are couples able to have their weddings in locations that speak to them but they are removing stress and so much pressure from traditional wedding plans.

We’re proud to offer couples an easy, high-value package that includes 100+ edited images capturing your vows and a short portrait session. Already have a photographer or creative you love? We’re happy to welcome them at Shadow Lake Lodge.
Important notes:
Couples are responsible for obtaining a valid wedding licence to have a legal ceremony.
Two witnesses must be present. If you are in a bind, chat with us prior to your stay and our staff may be able to act as witnesses.
